Store Policies
Glazed and confused? Our policies don't crack under pressure.
TERMS & CONDITIONS Last updated: May 2026
01. All Sales Are Final Each piece is handmade with care and is truly one-of-a-kind. Because of the nature of our work, once an order leaves our studio it cannot be resold or restocked. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on any purchases.
Please take your time reviewing all photos, dimensions, and product descriptions before completing your order — we want you to feel confident and excited about what's on its way to you.
02. Natural Variances in Size & Glaze Slight differences in size, glaze finish, or colour shade are part of what makes each piece special. As every item is individually handmade and kiln-fired, these variations are expected and celebrated — not defects.
The kiln Gods have a mind of their own, and we wouldn't have it any other way!
03. Unboxing Video Requirement We pack every order with a great deal of care. That said, accidents can occasionally happen in transit — and we want to make sure you're covered if they do.
To submit a damage claim with the carrier, we require a continuous, unedited video of the full unboxing process. This footage must show the parcel in its original condition before and during opening.
Claims submitted without an unboxing video cannot be assessed or escalated to the carrier. We appreciate your understanding — this small step protects everyone.
04. Commissioned Pieces We love bringing your vision to life. If you're interested in a custom or commissioned piece, please get in touch with us directly before placing any order. Commissioned work is not available through standard shop listings.
Reach out to us at thepeonyproject@gmail.com to discuss your ideas, timeline, and pricing — we'd love to hear from you.
05. Pre-Order Listings Once a pre-order purchase is completed, no changes, customisations, or cancellations can be accommodated. As with all our work, slight variances in glaze shades and design details are to be expected.
Please only purchase a pre-order listing if you are happy to receive the piece as made. We'll always do our best work — that's our promise.
06. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from your use of our store or purchase of our products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

SHIPPING POLICY
Last updated: May 2026
We ship worldwide and take great care in preparing every order for its journey to you. Here's what you need to know:
01. Processing Time As each piece is handmade, please allow time for your order to be carefully inspected, wrapped, and prepared before dispatch. Estimated processing times will be noted in individual product listings. Pre-order items may have longer lead times — these will always be clearly communicated.
02. Shipping & Delivery Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation with tracking information where available. Delivery timeframes vary by destination and chosen shipping method.
Please note that delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, customs processing, or other factors beyond our control.
03. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by your country's customs authority. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in your order total or shipping cost.
We recommend checking with your local customs office for information on applicable fees before placing your order.
04. Damaged Items in Transit We take great care in packaging every order securely. However, if your order arrives damaged, please refer to our unboxing video requirement in our Terms & Conditions. A continuous unboxing video is required to process any damage claim with the carrier.
Please contact us at thepeonyproject@gmail.com as soon as possible if you receive a damaged item.
05. Lost or Missing Parcels If your tracking information shows your parcel as delivered but you have not received it, please check with neighbours, your building reception, or your local post office first. If it remains missing, contact us and we will do our best to assist you in investigating with the carrier.
06. Incorrect Address Please ensure your shipping address is correct at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for orders dispatched to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you notice an error, contact us immediately at thepeonyproject@gmail.com — we will try our best to assist before the order is dispatched.
Questions about your shipment? Get in touch at thepeonyproject@gmail.com — we're happy to help.
REFUND & RETURN POLICY
Last updated: May 2026
Every piece from The Peony Project is handmade with care and is truly one-of-a-kind. Because of the individual, handmade nature of our work, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges.
We encourage you to review all photos, dimensions, and descriptions carefully before completing your purchase. If you have any questions about a piece before buying, please don't hesitate to reach out — we're happy to share additional photos or information.
01. No Refunds or Exchanges We do not accept returns or offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, variation in glaze or colour (as these are natural characteristics of handmade ceramics), or any other reason once an order has been placed.
02. Damaged Items While we pack every order with great care, accidents can sometimes happen in transit. If your item arrives damaged, the following applies:
You must record a continuous, unedited unboxing video of your parcel from the moment you begin opening it. This video is required to lodge a damage claim with the carrier. Without this footage, we are unable to assess or escalate a claim on your behalf.
Please contact us at thepeonyproject@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order, and include your unboxing video and order details. We will do our best to assist you.
03. Pre-Orders Pre-order purchases are final upon payment. No changes, cancellations, or substitutions can be accommodated once a pre-order has been placed. Slight variances in glaze shade or design detail are to be expected and are not grounds for a refund.
04. Commissioned Pieces Commissioned pieces are entirely bespoke and made to order based on agreed specifications. As such, commissioned pieces are non-refundable and non-returnable once production has commenced. Terms for commissioned work will be agreed upon directly before any payment is made.
Still have questions? We're always happy to chat — reach us at thepeonyproject@gmail.com.
